Government’s ‘Digital Bangladesh’ includes every one and does not distinguish people in terms of technology. Bangladesh is going to view digital year in 2011 to mark the trip to digital Bangladesh. The government has taken up a plan for setting up Union Information Centers in thousand unions in line with the vision to construct Digital Bangladesh by 2021. This programme is a greeting expansion towards attainment information technology amenities to the doorsteps of rural citizens. The rural community will easily get information about farming, health, education, marketing and employment from the Union Information Centers. The government has also enthused to devise new laws empowering an authority to set up six technical parks with the plan of establishing overseas investment in the information technology segment.
The Supreme Court of Bangladesh is going to be digitalized almost immediately. All cases related to information of the Supreme Court will be accessible in its website. Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) is also going to set up a technical monitoring system in the central control room to build contact with the on-duty police anywhere within the metropolitan region. Digitalization will mostly change banking and economic activities. In this country it is consider that the engineers are the most important and mainly talented students of the country.
